Zacian Crowned is the format's signature physical Fairy restricted and one of the most feared attackers in Regulation M-A. Its Behemoth Blade is a signature move with a guaranteed high roll, its Fairy/Steel typing is both offensively and defensively excellent, and its Attack stat makes it one of the hardest hitters in the format. It outspeeds most of the field and pressures teams that rely on bulky cores, while its Steel typing resists the Dragon and Ice pressure that threatens other restricted Pokémon. Its weaknesses are the ones Steel-types always carry — vulnerable to Fire and Ground coverage — and its special defense, while not poor, is not its headline, so strong special attackers can pressure it. It functions best as a lead that applies immediate pressure or a mid-game cleaner that punishes weakened boards. It pairs well with redirection and with partners that handle the Fire and Ground threats it invites.
