Teams
All figures are estimated trends based on available data and do not guarantee competitive results. Matchups are situational. See our methodology for how these figures are calculated.
Each team below is a complete six-Pokémon list built around a clear gameplan and archetype. They are meant as study examples: look at how the roles complement each other, how the leads are chosen, and how the team handles common matchups. Every team includes the roster, items, abilities, Tera types, moves, common leads, good and bad matchups, and a Showdown paste you can import directly. These teams are not guaranteed to win every game, but they show how successful archetypes come together. Use them as inspiration, then adjust sets and move choices to your local meta and personal preferences.
Standard Balance
BalanceControl the field with Intimidate and speed control, pressure both slots with spread damage, and close games with Kingambit's priority. This is an estimated archetype and outcomes are matchup dependent.
Sun Offense
SunSet Sun with Torkoal, out-speed the field with Chlorophyll attackers, and end games with sun-boosted spread damage. Estimated archetype; results vary by matchup.
Sand Balance
SandUse Tyranitar and Excadrill to force the early speed race, then rotate through Incineroar and Rotom-Wash to preserve board position. Whimsicott and Dragapult give the team a second tempo plan once Sand is no longer favorable.
Trick Room Pressure
Trick RoomSet Trick Room behind Armor Tail or Fake Out pressure, then use Torkoal, Kingambit and Tyranitar to trade efficiently in the reversed speed order. Keep an alternate pivot line for games where setting Room is unsafe.
