Landorus Incarnate is the format's premier special Ground attacker and one of the most flexible non-restricted pieces in Regulation M-A. Its Ground STAB, backed by Sheer Force-boosted coverage, threatens the format's bulky cores and its signature move, Earth Power, hits most of the field for neutral or better damage. Its speed tier is excellent, letting it outrun many of the format's attackers, and its ability to pivot with U-turn or support with Icy Wind gives it genuine flexibility. Its weaknesses are significant: it is vulnerable to Ice, Water and the format's common coverage, and its bulk is not designed to absorb hits, so it relies on positioning. It also fears Choice Scarf users that outspeed it and the format's faster special attackers. It functions best as a breaker that comes in after the opponent has committed their answers, or as a speed-control pivot that threatens while adjusting the field's speed. Landorus Incarnate pairs well with redirection and with physical partners that handle the Ice-types it invites. It is one of the format's most reliable special breakers.
