Its Water STAB, boosted by its School form stats, hits the format's Ground and Fire cores hard, and its bulk lets it sit in front of many of the format's attackers. Its signature value is the Trick Room speed tier — it is extremely slow in a format where Trick Room teams want their sweepers to move last, which makes it a natural fit on those teams.
