Teams that commit to Regigigas are making a bet that they can survive the early game and let it ramp into a win condition that few Pokémon can answer. Its raw stats, when active, make it one of the hardest physical attackers in the format, and it can be built to punish the defensive cores that anchor opposing teams. The strategy demands extreme discipline: redirection, Fake Out and Intimidate must keep it alive through its weak turns, and the team must win the games it can end once Regigigas is fully ramped. Its weaknesses are the standard Normal package — vulnerable to Fighting, and weak to any team that can punish its slow ramp with tempo. It is not a pick for every player or every format, but in Regulation M-A, where the restricted slot defines team identity, a well-supported Regigigas is one of the most unique and dangerous win conditions available.
